The electrons are transferred in the given redox reaction are 2 electrons.

<h3>what is redox reaction?</h3>

When oxidation and reduction that is gaining of electron and loosing of electrons takes place simultaneously in a chemical reaction then it would be known as redox reaction.

In terms of oxygen the gaining of oxygen is oxidation and loosing of oxygen is reduction.

In the given chemical reaction the transfer of two electrons will be as follows

Zn₂ (2e) + AgNo₃ → 2Ag (2e) + Zn(NO₃)₂

It is clear from the reaction their is transfer of two electrons zinc is loosing 2 electrons undergoes to oxidation while silver gets reduced.

Therefore, transfer of only two electrons.

What best describes the collisions between ideal gas molecules?
Serggg [28]

The molecules are continually colliding with each other and with the walls of the container. When a molecule collides with the wall, they exert small force on the wall The pressure exerted by the gas is due to the sum of all these collision forces. The more particles that hit the walls, the higher the pressure.

When you convert feet to inches, how do you decide which portion of the conversion factor should be in the numerator and which i
Inessa05 [86]

Answer : The conversion used is, 1\text{ feet}=12\text{ inches}

Explanation :

The conversion used :

1\text{ feet}=12\text{ inches}

For example : To convert 10 feet into inches.

1\text{ feet}=12\text{ inches}

10\text{ feet}=10\text{ feet}\times \frac{12\text{ inches}}{1\text{ feet}}

                    =120\text{ inches}

From this we conclude that, the conversion factor used in the numerator and denominator for 1 feet should be, \frac{12\text{ inches}}{1\text{ feet}}

The energy needed to raise the temperature of water from 22.0ºC to 90.0ºC is c. 28.4 kJ.

<h3>What is specific heat?</h3>

The amount of energy needed to raise the temperature of one gram of a substance by one degree Celsius.

By the formula Q = mc\Delta T

Q is the heat

m is the mass

c is the specific heat

Now, c = 4.184 J/g.K

The change in temperature is 22.0 ºC to 90.0 ºC

Putting the value in the equation

Q = 100 \times 4.184 \times (90.0 - 22.0)\\\\Q = 4.184 \times 68.0\\ \\Q= 284.5 \;J

Thus, the energy needed to raise the temperature of water from 22.0ºC to 90.0ºC is 28.4 kJ
