The APGAR scoring is a test being performed in a newborn after delivery withing the first minute and 5 minutes after birth. It includes checking the Appearance Pulse, Grimace response, Acitivity and Respiration. In the giving situation, the priority would then be the neonate's respiration and he or she has an increase respiratory rate.
