From a chemistry book that I have read, it stated that Barium Sulfate is so insoluble in water. Due to this, it is not toxic to humans since it is not dissolved and absorbed by our body. In the other hand, Barium Carbonate is slightly soluble in water making it toxic to us.

Answer:

Barium carbonate is soluble in plain water

Determine the electron-group arrangement, molecular shape, and ideal bond angle(s) for each of the following:
antoniya [11.8K]

The electron group arrangement of PH₃ is tetrahedral. The molecular shape is a Trigonal pyramid, and the bond angle is 93°.

<h3>What is the bond angle?</h3>

The angle between the atoms in a compound is known as the bond angle. The degree of the binding angle is specified. There is also the bond length. It is the separation between the two atoms' nuclei.

The bond angle between the atoms of phosphine is 93°. It has one lone pair. The central atom is covered with 4 atoms.

Thus, the electron-group arrangement of phosphine is tetrahedral. The molecular geometry or shape is a trigonal pyramid. The bond angle is 93°.

Hello
nordsb [41]

Answer:

The ratio of the number of atoms of gold and silver in the ornament is 197 : 1080.

Explanation:

Let the mass of silver ornament be x.

Mass of gold polished on an ornament = 1% of x= 0.1 x

Moles of silver =\frac{x}{108 g/mol}

Number of atoms = Moles\times N_A

Where : N_A = Avogadro number

Moles of gold =\frac{0.1x}{197 g/mol}

Silver atoms =\frac{x}{108 g/mol}\times N_A

Gold atoms =\frac{0.1x}{197 g/mol}\times N_A

The ratio of the number of atoms of gold and silver in the ornament:

=\frac{\frac{0.1x}{197 g/mol}\times N_A}{\frac{x}{108 g/mol}\times N_A}

= 197 : 1080

Which is an example of the electromagnetic force?
Zarrin [17]

First to answer

Answer:

D: Protons that make up a nitrogen atom stays together in the nucleus

This is because a electromagnetic force is responsible for atomic structure, chemical reactions, the attractive and repulsive forces associated with electrical charge and magnetism, and other electromagnetic phenomena.
