9x(30+7)=(9x30)+(9x7)

remove parenthesis :

9x(30+7) = 9x * 30 + 9x * 7

multiply : 9 * 30 = 270

9x(30+7) = 270x + 9 * 7x

multiply : 9*7 = 63

9x(30+7) = 270x +63x

add : 270x + 63x = 333x

expand : 30 + 7 = 37

multiply : 9*37 = 333x

subtract : 333x - 333x = 333x - 333x

Answer : 0

I hope this helps

yequals(9 x Superscript 4 Baseline minus 4 x squared plus 6 )Superscript 4 To find StartFraction dy Over dx EndFraction , write
damaskus [11]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the function

y = (9x⁴ — 4x² + 6)⁴

We need to find the derivative of y with respect to x i.e. dy/dx.

So let u = 9x⁴—4x² + 6

Then y = u²,

Then, y is a function of u, y=f(u)

Also, u is a function of x, u = g(x)

In this case,

u = g(x) = 9x⁴—4x² + 6

So let differentiate this function y(x).

This is a function of a function

Then, we need to find u'(x)

u (x) = 9x⁴—4x² + 6

Then, u'(x) = 36x³ — 8x

Also we need to find y'(u)

Then, y = u²

y'(u) = 2u

Using function of a function formula

dy / dx = dy/du × du/dx

y'(x) = y'(u) × u'(x)

y'(x) = 2u × 36x³ — 8x

y'(x) = 2u(36x³ — 8x)

Since, u = 9x⁴—4x² + 6

Therefore,

y'(t) = 2(9x⁴—4x² + 6)(36x³ — 8x)

So,

dy/dx = 2(9x⁴—4x² + 6)(36x³ — 8x)

dy/dx = (18x⁴—8x² + 12)(36x³ — 8x)

MakcuM [25]

As for the right angle triangle the ratio of opposite side to the hypotenuse side is equal to the sine angle.

The distance of the top of the slide from the ground is 24 foot (to nearest foot). Thus option 3 is the correct option.

<h3>What is right angle triangle?</h3>

A right angle triangle is a triangle in which, one of the angle measures equals to the 9 degrees.

Given information

The angle of depression from top of the slide to the pool is 31. 66°.

The height of the slide is 46 feet.

Image is attached below for the given problem.

As for the right angle triangle the ratio of opposite side to the hypotenuse side is equal to the sine angle.

Thus,

\sin(31.6^o)=\dfrac{x}{46} \\x=46\times \sin (31.6^o)\\x=46\times 0.5249\\x=24.145

Hence the distance of the top of the slide from the ground is 24 foot (to nearest foot). Thus option 3 is the correct option.

How does the experimental probability of choosing a yellow tile compare with the theoretical probability of choosing a yellow ti
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

The experimental probability is the same as the theoretical probability.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given data is:

color            observed frequency               relative frequency

Red                            15                                          3/10

Blue                           12                                          6/25

Green                         8                                           4/25

Yellow                        10                                          1/5

Purple                         5                                           1/10

The experiment was repeated 50 numbers of times.

Solution:

Theoretical probability is basically what is expected to happen without experimenting and experimental probability is what actually happens as a   results of an experiment.

Theoretical probability =  favorable outcomes / all possible outcomes

Experimental probability = no. of times outcome occurs / no. of times

experiment is performed The experimental probability  and theoretical probability are same i.e. 1/5

This can be seen from the table:

Experimental probability = 1/5

As the experiment is performed 50 times and the outcome (yellow tile) occurs 10 times so using the formula of experimental probability:

10/50 = 1/5

Now as given, there are 5 number of tiles (red, blue, green, yellow, purple) so number of possible outcomes is 5. Yellow tile among these 5 tiles is 1. So the favorable outcomes is 1. So looking at the given formula of theoretical probability:

1/5

So

experimental probability = 1/5

theoretical probability = 1/5

Hence the experimental probability is the same as the theoretical probability.
