9x(30+7)=(9x30)+(9x7)

remove parenthesis :

9x(30+7) = 9x * 30 + 9x * 7

multiply : 9 * 30 = 270

9x(30+7) = 270x + 9 * 7x

multiply : 9*7 = 63

9x(30+7) = 270x +63x

add : 270x + 63x = 333x

expand : 30 + 7 = 37

multiply : 9*37 = 333x

subtract : 333x - 333x = 333x - 333x

Answer : 0

I hope this helps

Camille and Lawrence can each mop the floor and vacuum the carpets at their house in two hours. Gaston needs three hours do the
denpristay [2]
It will take them 3/4 of an hour together.

Camille can mop and vacuum 1/2 of the house per hour.
Lawrence can mop and vacuum 1/2 of the house per hour.
Gaston can mop and vacuum 1/3 of the house per hour.

Working at this rate for x amount of time, they can all three complete 100% of the job:

1/2x+1/2x+1/3x=1

Combining like terms,
1 1/3x = 1
3/3x + 1/3x = 1
4/3x = 1

Divide both sides by 4/3:
4/3x÷4/3 = 1÷4/3
x = 1/1÷4/3
x = 1/1×3/4
x = 3/4

Write an equation for the line perpendicular to 2x−3y = 5 and containing (−2, 1).
Nostrana [21]

Hello:
the equation is : y = ax+b
the slope is a : a×(2/3) = -1......( perpendicular to a line : 2x-3y =7 with a slope of 2/3 because : y = (2/3)x-7/3)
a = -3/2         y=(-3/2)x+b
the line that passes through (-2, 1) : 1 = (-3/2)(-2)+b
b = -2
the equation is :  y  = (-3/2)x-2
