It would be considered verbal abuse, as i have dealt with this for a significant portion of my life. Hope this helps! And as the comment below suggests, emotional abuse because the child would think they are worthless and would hate themselves and thus blame everything on them, leading to depression.
You could get a ride from a friend that is not intoxicated. You could also order that person a ride from many apps such as uber. Or you could just choose to stay and wait until the effects of the alcohol wear off.
