Answer:

t = 6.15 minutes

α = - 3.9 x 10^-3 rad/s^2

Explanation:

n = 42.3 rev

angle turns in one revolution = 2 π radians

Angle turns in 42.3 rev = 2 x 3.14 x 42.3 = 265.644 rad

ωo = 1.44 rad/s, ω = 0

Let t be the time taken to stop and the angular acceleration is α.

Use third equation of motion for rotational motion

ω^2 = ωo^2 + 2 α θ

0 = 1.44 x 1.44 + 2 α x 265.644

α = - 3.9 x 10^-3 rad/s^2

Use first equation of motion for rotational motion

ω = ωo + α t

0 = 1.44 - 3.9 x 10^-3 x t

t = 368.95 second = 6.15 minutes

love history [14]

Answer:

(A) 3.1 m/s

(B) 2.0 s

Explanation:

At the minimum speed, the force of gravity equals the centripetal force.

mg = m v² / r

v = √(gr)

v = √(9.8 m/s² × 1.0 m)

v = 3.1 m/s

The time is the circumference divided by the speed.

t = (2π × 1.0 m) / (3.1 m/s)

t = 2.0 s

posledela

Answer:

180.4 m

Explanation:

The package in relation to the point where it was released falls a certain distance that is calculated by applying the horizontal motion formulas , as the horizontal speed of the plane and the height above the ground are known, the time that It takes the package to reach its destination and then the horizontal distance (x) is calculated from where it was dropped, as follows:

$V_{ox}=v_x = 40 \ m/s$

   h = 100 m

    x =?

     Height formula h:

     $h=g \times \frac{t^2}{2}$

      Time t is cleared:

     $t = \sqrt{\frac{2h}{g}}$

      $t = \sqrt{\frac{2 \times 100}{9.8}}$

      t = 4.51 sec

 Horizontal distance formula x:

       $x=V_x \times t$

        x = 40 m / sec x 4.51 sec

        x = 180.4 m
