All stored energy is potential
energy. Do you agree?

umka21 [38]

Answer:

yes I agree Because........

Explanation:

Potential energy is stored energy. Potential energy is the energy that exists by virtue of the relative positions of the objects within a physical system. This form of energy has the potential to change the state of other objects around it, for example, the configuration or motion.

How can you pull a rope with equal but opposite forces
Ivahew [28]
You want to do it all by yourself ? Nothing to it !

Take a piece of rope that's maybe 12 to 18 inches long. Take one end
of the rope in each hand, raise your hands up in front of you, and make
like you're trying to stretch the rope. You'll automatically make the forces
of your hands equal and opposite, so that the rope just stays there in front
of you and doesn't move.

A 10.0-kg box starts at rest on a level floor. An external, horizontal force of 2.00 × 102 N is applied to the box for a distanc
Harman [31]

Answer:

vf = 11.2 m/s

Explanation:

m = 10 Kg

F = 2*10² N

x = 4.00 m

μ = 0.44

vi = 0 m/s

vf = ?

We can apply Newton's 2nd Law

∑ Fx = m*a   (→)

F - Ffriction = m*a  ⇒  F - (μ*N) = F - (μ*m*g) = m*a   ⇒  a = (F - μ*m*g)/m

⇒    a = (2*10² N - 0.44*10 Kg*9.81 m/s²)/10 Kg = 15.6836 m/s²

then , we use the equation

vf² = vi² + 2*a*x    ⇒    vf = √(vi² + 2*a*x)

⇒   vf = √((0)² + 2*(15.6836 m/s²)*(4.00m)) = 11.2 m/s

When you drop a 0.37kg apple earth exerts a force on it that accelerates it at 9.8m/s^2 toward the earths surface. According to
Delvig [45]

force applied due to earth on the apple is given as

F = ma

given that

m = 0.37 kg

a = 9.8 m/s^2

now we have

F = m*a

F = 0.37* 9.8 = 3.63 N

now as per Newton's III law equal and opposite force is applied on earth

so now we can find acceleration of Earth using same equation as we used above

F = ma

here we know that

m = mass of earth

F = 3.63 N

3.63 = 5.98 * 10^{24} * a

a = \frac{3.63}{5.98 * 10^{24}

a = 6.1 * 10^{-25} m/s^2

so acceleration of earth is very small and given by above value
