6810 bottles produced last month (of all three kinds)
1/3 of the 6810 were orange = 2270 are the oranges so 6810-2270 = 4540 (both limes and apples)
apples = 3 * limes
apples count is N
limes count is n
N=3n
N+n=4540
3n+n=4540
4n=4540
n=1135 (limes)
N= 3n = 3405 (apples)

Find the points of intersection (if any) of the graphs of the equations. Use a graphing utility to check your results. y = - x +
fredd [130]

Answer:

x = 1.2

See Attachment for Graph

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

y = -x + 4

y = 4x - 2

Required

Determine the point of intersection

To do this, we simply equate both expressions of y

i.e.

-x + 4 = 4x - 2

Solve for x

-x - 4x =  - 2 - 4

-5x = -6

Divide through by -5

x = \frac{-6}{-5}

x = \frac{6}{5}

x = 1.2

<em>Hence, the point of intersection is 1.2</em>

Complete the paragraph below. The standard deviation is used in conjunction with the ______ to numerically describe distributio
Bumek [7]

Answer:

The standard deviation is used in conjunction with the mean to numerically describe distributions that are bell shaped. The mean measures the center of the distribution, while the standard deviation measures the spread of the distribution.

Step-by-step explanation:

Problems of normally distributed samples can be solved using the z-score formula.

In a set with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, the zscore of a measure X is given by

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

The mean is the average value of the measures while the standard deviation measures how spread the measures are from the mean. So

The standard deviation is used in conjunction with the mean to numerically describe distributions that are bell shaped. The mean measures the center of the distribution, while the standard deviation measures the spread of the distribution.
