Discriminant= b^{2}-4.a.c \\ \\  We\:need\:to:-b+ \sqrt{discriminant} /2a \\   \\  9x^{2} +12x+4=0  \\ => 12^{2} -4.9.4 \\ 144-144=0 \\  \sqrt{0} =0 \\  \\ -12+ 0/18= \frac{-12}{18} = \frac{-2}{3}   \\  \\ That`s\: enough=>x= \frac{-2}{3}  \\  \\ \framebox[1.1\width]{Good Luck!} \par

So 9x^2+12x+4=0

so the quadratic formulat is (-b+/-(squrt(b^2-4ac)))/(2a)=x
subsitute
ax^2+bx+c=

9=a
12=b
4=c

(-12+/-(squrt(12^2-4(9)(4))))/(2(9))=x
(-12+/-(squrt(144^2-144)))/18)=x

(-12+/-0)/18)=x
-12/18=x
-2/3=x

Use the given degree of confidence and sample data to construct a confidence interval
ValentinkaMS [17]

Answer:

0.726 < p < 0.874

Step-by-step explanation:

p = 64/83 = about 0.8

confidence interval = p +- z \sqrt{\frac{p (1-p)}{n} }

= 0.8 +- (1.64 x 0.04472)

= 0.8 +- 0.073343

= (0.726656 and 0.873343)

0.726 < p < 0.874

Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Arc length of the circle is given by,

Arc length = \frac{\theta}{360^{\circ}}(2\pi r)

Area of the sector of a circle = \frac{\theta}{360^{\circ}}(2\pi r)

22). Arc length of the circle having central angle = \frac{\pi}{3}

                                                                                 = 60°

Arc length = \frac{60^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}(2\pi )(7)

                 = \frac{14\pi }{6}

                 = 7.33 cm

23). Arc length of the circle having central angle = 225°

Arc length = \frac{225^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}(2\pi )(10)

                 = 12.5π

                 = 39.27 km

24). Central angle = \frac{5\pi }{4}

                              = \frac{5\times 180^{\circ}}{4}

                              = 225°

Area of the sector = \frac{225^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}(2\pi )(11)

                               = 43.20 yd²

25). Area of the sector = \frac{270^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}}(2\pi )(14)

                                      = 65.97 yd²
