Hey there!

To find the value of an angle in a triangle, you need to add the 3 angles. You have angles with 55 degrees, 65 degrees, and x degrees. Put this into an equation. The equation would be 55+65+x=180. Simplify to get 120+x=180. You need to isolate x, so subtract 120 from both sides to get x=60. So the value of x is 60 degrees.

I hope this helps!

Hey there! :) To find the value of "x," we have to first find the other angles. Remember that every straight line adds up to 180°! :)

This is a fairly easy question, as you simply just ignore the inside triangles, as we are already given the angles.

Look at the bottom angles of the whole triangle - all you need to do is add 55° with 65°, then subtract the answer from 180°. Why? Simply because all triangles, added up, equal 180°.

So : 55° + 65° = 120°

180° - 120° = 60°

Therefore, x = 60°

60=2(3b+2)+b
60=6b+4+b
60=7b+4
minus 4 both sides

What is the slope of the line that goes through the points (-1,4) and (14,-2)?
kupik [55]

Answer:

hi! so we have 2 points right? you will need to use something called the slope formula  y2-y1/x2-x1 we're subtracting our y values of both points and x values of both points while dividing them this gives us a slope of a line

now I want you to label before you do this in your head! it can get confusing to think about it so label label (x1-1,y1 4) (x2 14,y2 -2) now you have them labeled this parts easy! use the formula -2-4/14--1 okay now use your calculator you get -2/5 and now you have your m or slope!

memorize y2-y1/x2-x1  now! it will save you!
