The correct answer is option A

A key stone species is the most crucial part of an ecosystem and without keystone species all the food webs with in an ecosystems or its surrounding niche remains incomplete. These species may not be the most populous or powerful but are definitely important for the survival of all other species in the ecosystem. In option A, the species is considered important as it has a positive impact on all species thus in its absence the health of all species would be adversely impacted.

Explain how leaves are adapted to carry out photosynthesis?
navik [9.2K]

Answer: Leaves are adapted for photosynthesis and gaseous exchange.

Explanation: They are adapted for photosynthesis by having a large surface area, and contain openings, called stomata to allow carbon dioxide into the leaf and oxygen out. Although these design features are good for photosynthesis, they can result in the leaf losing a lot of water. The cells inside the leaf have water on their surface. Some of this water evaporates, and the water vapor can then escape from inside the leaf.
