Answer:

Here, the given expression that shows her total earning ( in dollars ),

75x + 25y,

Part A :

Variable is the quantity that can be vary in an expression,

Typically, It can be represented by a single letter,

Coefficients is numeric quantity that is placed before the variable,

So, in the above expression,

x and y are variables,

75 and 25 are coefficients,

Part B :

Terms are the single number or variable or a variable with a coefficient which are separated by mathematical signs ( +, - or etc ),

So, in the above expression,

75x and 25y are terms,

So, the expression has 2 terms,

Part C :

In the expression 75x + 25y

75 shows her earning for every shift she works at the pizzeria,

25 represents her earning for every dog-walking job,

Since, total earning = earning for each unit × number of unit,

Thus, the variable having coefficient 75 must shows the number of shifts,

Hence, 75x would be show the total earned from the pizzeria.

75x + 25y

Part A: coefficients = 75 & 25 variables = x & y

Part B: Terms = 2
- term 1: 75x
- term 2: 25y

Terms are the different parts or groups of an equation. Therefore, 75x is one term and the other is 25y. They are each a part of the equation. Without them you wouldn't have an equation at all.

Part C: Pizzeria pay = 75x because that is how much she makes each shift she works.

- Hope this helps. =)

Evaluate the function at the given values
F(y) = 4y^4 - 6y^2 + 8y - 15
At y = 2
otez555 [7]
F(2)= 4(16) - 6(4) + 8(2) - 15
F(2)= 64 -24 + 16 - 15
F(2)= 41
