Weak bases always have strong conjugate acids. The conjugate acids of the weak bases will react to lower the pH of the product, so that the resulting solution will be acidic. For instance, the conjugate acid of ammonia is ammonium ion, which will react in a neutralization reaction with water to form hydronium ion which is acidic.
