C. 2
Because
3x+2(2)=13
3x+4=13
3x=9
x=3

None of the other solutions work out so that both x and y are integers.

They are all integers so...
first lets substitute
A.3x=13
X=13/3
b.3x+2=13
3x=11
x=11/3
c.3x+4=13
3x=9
x=3
d.3x+6=13
3x=7
x=7/3

E.3x+8=13
3x=5
x=5/3

therefore the possible is letter c because it must be an integer and the definition of integer states that it is not a decimal nor a fraction

If the function f(x) has a domain of (g,h) and a range of (j,k), then what is the domain and range of g(x) = m(f(x)] + p?
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

Dom\{g(x)\} = Dom\{f(x)\} = (g, h).

Ran \{g(x)\} = (m\cdot j+p,m\cdot k +p)

Step-by-step explanation:

From Mathematics we remember that the domain of a functions corresponds to the set of values of the independent variable (x in this case) so that images exist and the range of a function is the set of images.

In this case, we know the domain and range of f(x) and we must find the domain and range of g(x).

Domain

The domain of g(x) is the domain of f(x). That is, Dom\{g(x)\} = Dom\{f(x)\} = (g, h).

Range

We have to define the bounds of the range of g(x), given that range f(x) is modified by streching and horizontal translation operations:

Lower bound (f(x) = j)

g(x) = m\cdot j +p

Upper bound (f(x) = k)

g(x) = m\cdot k +p

In consequence, the range of g(x) is Ran \{g(x)\} = (m\cdot j+p,m\cdot k +p)

A regular hexagon rotates counterclockwise about its center. It turns through angles greater than 0° and less than or equal to 3
Leya [2.2K]
You can draw lines from the center of the hexagon to the peak. And you can find that this hexagon is divided to 6 parts. Every 60° can the hexagon map onto itself. So at 60,120,180,240,300 and 360 total 6 times.
