Ans:C.
Remember equation Y=MX, and M is Slope.
now we know the line through the given point <span>(8,3)
</span>so put (8,5) into the equation
then equation Y=MX → (Y-3)=M(X-8)
and Slope M=5
so (Y-3)=5(X-8)

Answer: Option (D) Add the exponents and keep the same base. Then find the reciprocal and change the sign of the exponent.

Explanation:

Given expression:

(2^3)(2^{-4})

<em>Step-1: </em>Add the exponents and keep the same base by using x^a*x^b = x^{a+b} property.

(2^3)(2^{-4}) = 2^{(3+(-4))} = 2^{-1}

Step-2: The reciprocal of 2^{-1} is \frac{1}{2^{-1}}, which is 2^1

Step-3: The exponent of 2^1 is +1; therefore, change the sign of exponent. The end expression will now become:

2^{-1}

Hence, the correct option is (D) Add the exponents and keep the same base. Then find the reciprocal and change the sign of the exponent.
