First, we have to correct the equation in the question to b(g)⇆ 1/2 A(g)
at the first equation A(g)⇆ 2 B(g) so,
Kc = [B]^2 [ A] = 0.03

by reverse the equation 2B⇆ A
∴ Kc(original) = [A] / [B]^2

        = 1/0.03 = 33 M^-1

and the new equation B⇆ (1/2) A
So, the new Kc = √Kc(original = √33
                ∴    KC  = 5.7

Chemical reaction 1: A ⇄ 2B. K₁ = 0,030.
Chemical reaction 2: B ⇄ 1/2A. K₂ = ?.
K₁ = [B]² / [A]. [B] = √K₁·[A].
Second chemical reaction is reversed first chemical reaction and diveded by two.
K₂ = √[A]/[B].
K₂ = √1/K₁.
K₂ = √1/0,03.
K₂ = 5,77; the equilibrium constant for the second chemical reaction.

Which of the following best describes a fission reaction involving lithium? (1 point)
boyakko [2]

Answer:

D, ABC, C, A, ?, B, A, ?, B, C, D, D, C, D

Explanation:

(Answers and explanations in order of questions)

Fission reactions are when the nucleus of an atom splits producing smaller nuclei and energy

Lack of space isn't a safety risk

Coal, natural gases, and oil all are burned to create energy which releases carbon into the atmosphere, polluting it. Nuclear power doesn't burn carbon-based substances and so is fine

I dunno but C and D are wrong

All of them are technically renewable?

Geothermal energy uses the Earth's heat, hence the name

Nothing can happen if people ignore it

Unsure

Synthetic polymers are plastics, which do not decay naturally

A base would react with the acid to neutralise it which is the fastest way to improve the lake

Not pesticides?

Oil spills kill aquatic animals and life quickly, which causes huge damage to ecosystems

If nothing changes nonrenewable things will run out and bad practices will have caused irreparable damage worldwide

Big factories are pumping out the bad stuff

What is always true of an object with a lit of mass ?
sertanlavr [38]

Such an object makes a larger dent in the fabric of space-time than an object with little mass. (It has a greater gravitational attraction than less massive objects)

A greater force is required to accelerate such an object than a less massive object

A gas is at a pressure of 12.5 psi and a volume of 750 mL. What volume will the gas occupy at a pressure of 18 psi?
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer : The volume of gas occupy at a pressure of 18 psi is, 520.8 mL

Explanation :

Boyle's Law : It is defined as the pressure of the gas is inversely proportional to the volume of the gas at constant temperature and number of moles.

P\propto \frac{1}{V}

or,

P_1V_1=P_2V_2

where,

P_1 = initial pressure = 12.5 psi

P_2 = final pressure = 18 psi

V_1 = initial volume = 750 mL

V_2 = final volume = ?

Now put all the given values in the above equation, we get:

12.5psi\times 750mL=18psi\times V_2

V_2=520.8mL

Thus, the volume of gas occupy at a pressure of 18 psi is, 520.8 mL

Identify the person who made the correct statement.
Lunna [17]

Answer: Both Mike and Bobby are correct.

Explanation:

Petrifcation can be defined as the process in which the organic material of the dead living being becomes fossil by the replacement of mineral deposition in the bony, hard material.

Thus although the body components gets decomposed wiped out due to this process. The body shape of the dead organism remains the same as that was in living.

Thus the statements made by Mike and Bobby both are correct. The fossils are hard and have the same appearance as when they were alive.
