The correct answer for this question is letter A. If the starting and ending points of the motion are the same, velocity is zero but speed is a non-zero quantity. Velocity is a physical vector quantity that requires both magnitude and direction.

Keep in mind this relationship

1.  Relationship between Speed, Distance and time

→Distance = Speed × Time

Speed=\frac{Distance}{Time}

2. Relationship between Displacement, Velocity and time

→Displacement = Velocity × Time

Velocity=\frac{Displacement}{Time}

So, velocity is zero only when

Displacement= 0,so when motion is circular motion,

Total Displacement =0 because initial and final position are same.

But , Speed is not zero, because

Total Distance Traveled = 2 π × (Radius of circle).

So, Option (A)The Starting and end point are same  .. . . . in which  the velocity is zero but the speed is a nonzero quantity.
