Answer:

The current value of the  stock  is $12.63

Explanation:

price of a share

P_{t} = \frac{D_{t} }{R - g}  ... 1

                                     where, P_{t} = price of a stock at t years

                                      D_{t} = dividend at year t

                                       R= rate of return from market

                                       g = growth rate of dividend

substituting into equation 1

P_{t} = $1.2 ÷ 12% - 2.5%

    = $1.2 ÷ 0.095

    = $12.6316

     = $12.63

A voltage of 50 V appears across a 20-μF capacitor.
AlekseyPX

Answer:

a. 1nC

b. 0C

Explanation:

Net charge q stored on plate of capacitor is

q = CV

Where C = 2uF = 2 x 10^-6F

V= 50v

q = 20 x 10^-6 x 50 = 1000 x 10^-6 = 1000uF = 10^-9 = 1nC

b. the total net charge on another plate is equal in absolute value to the first one, but it is charged with opposite Pole so always is valid that total net charge on both plates are equal to zero.

That's the other charge on the plate is -1nc

1 nC + -1nC = 0C

Willow Corporation had three employees. Two of the employees worked full-time and earned salaries of $25,000 each. The third emp
Montano1993 [528]

Answer:

$102

Explanation:

FUTA tax due from Willow Corporation for 2019, after the credit for state unemployment taxes, can be calculated by deducting the Paid state unemployment tax by the FUTA tax.

DATA

Paid State Unemployment Tax = (7,000+7,000+3,000) x 5.4%

Paid State Unemployment Tax = $918

FUTA tax rate in 2019 = 6%

Solution

FUTA tax (6% x $17,000) = $1,020

FUTA tax due =  $1,020 - $918

FUTA tax due = $102

Using the dividend growth model, explain why a firm would be hesitant to reduce the growth rate of its dividends.
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

If a firm decreases its sustainable growth rate (g), the price of their stock will probably decrease. I will use the following example:

P₀ = Div₁ / (Re - g)

  • Div₁ = $2
  • Re = 12%
  • g = 5%

P₀ = $2 / (12% - 5%) = $28.57

if the growth rate g decreases to 2%, and the rest remains unchanged, then

P₀ = $2 / (12% - 2%) = $20
