A little girl kicks a soccer ball. It goes 10 feet and comes back to her. How is this possible?

Kicks it up into the air and it falls back down to her, or it could be it was kicked and bounced off another surface like a wall and the force returns it to her.

The only explanation that can be possible is if the little kicked the soccer ball in the air. 
With enough force that she had the ball wouldn't be able to come back to her if it foes 10 feet away. So if she kicked the ball 10 feet in the air and it comes back to her that would be a great explanation for it. With force and motion it will be able to come back to her if it gets kicked in the air. 

I hope that makes sense because there is no way she was able to kick a ball 10 feet and have it come back like that it's not possible.
