The formula to find the volume of a cube is L*W*H Which is the length (L) multiplied but the width (W) and the height (H). So all you have to do is multiply all of the numbers you were given together. 1*1*(1/3) so the volume is 1/3

nadezda [96]

Answer:

The perimeter of the figure is 90\ ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

A(1,5),B(6,5),C(6,1),D(1,1)

using a graphing tool

see the attached figure

The perimeter is equal to

P=AB+BC+CD+AD

The figure is a rectangle

so

AB=DC=(6-1)=5*5=25\ ft

AD=BC=(5-1)=4*5=20\ ft

P=2(25+20)=90\ ft

I need help with three and four
mart [117]

Answer:

3: a^{2}+2ab+b^{2}

4: 8x^{3} -12x^{2}+6x-1

Step-by-step explanation:

Question 3 can be re-written as:

(a+b)(a+b)

which equals:

a^{2}+2ab+b^{2}

Question 4 can be re-written as:

(2x-1)(2x-1)(2x-1)

Doing the first 2 brackets gives us:

(4x^{2} -4x+1)(2x-1)

Expanding these two:

8x^{3} -4x^{2} -8x^{2} +4x+2x-1

Simplifying it:

8x^{3} -12x^{2}+6x-1
