From what they are doing now to what they have said is put wind turbines in the oceans as well as use more river waters and tide dams to produce energy for homes and businesses around the area

They will have to cut down on there use of energy or use more renewable energy sources. They could use solar panels, wind turbines, nuclear power, hydroelectricity, geothermal energy or tidal power. It depends on the weather and temperature where they live.

A solid disk of radius 1.4 cm and mass 430 g is attached by a wire to one of its circular faces. It is twisted through an angle
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

    f= 4,186  10²  Hz

Explanation:

El sistema descrito es un pendulo de torsión que oscila con con velocidad angular, que esta dada por

             w = √ k/I

donde ka es constante de torsion de hilo e I es el momento de inercia del disco

El  momento de inercia de indican que giran un eje que pasa                 por enronqueces

           I= ½ M R2

reduzcamos las cantidades al sistema SI

         R= 1,4 cm = 0,014  m

         M= 430 g = 0,430 kg

substituimos

           w= √ (2 k/M R2)

calculemos

           w = RA ( 2 370 / (0,430  0,014 2)

           w = 2,963 103 rad/s

la velocidad angular esta relacionada con la frecuencia por

            w =2pi f

            f= w/2π

            f= 2,963 10³/ (2π)

            f= 4,186  10²  Hz

3) A dock worker pushes a 72 kg crate up a 2.0 m high,
Vlad [161]

Work done on the crate is 1411.2 J

Explanation:

Work done is defined as the product of force and the distance moved by the object. The unit of work done is in joules and denoted by the symbol J.

                                     Work done = F * d

where F represents the force and d represents the distance moved by the object.

mass = 72 kg , distance moved by the object is given by 2.0 m

Force F = mass * gravity = 72 * 9.8

             = 705.6 N =706 N.

Work done = 706 * 2.0 = 1412 J.

(20) A rocket is launched vertically. At time t = 0 seconds, the rocket’s engine shuts down. At the time, the rocket has reached
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given that,

h(t) = -9.8t² / 2 + 125t + 500

for t > 0.

At t = 0, the rocket is at height h = 500m, at a velocity of Vo = 125m/s.

We want to find the maximum height reached by rocket

Using mathematics maxima and minima

let find the turning point when dh/dt = 0

dh/dt = -9.8t + 125

dh / dt = 0 = -9.8t + 125

9.8t = 125

t = 125 / 9.8

t = 12.76s

Let find the turning point to know if this time t = 12.76 is maximum or minimum point

Let find d²h / dt²

d²h / dt² = -9.8

Since, d²h/dt² < 0, then, at t = 12.76s is the maximum points.

Then, the maximum height reached is

h =  -9.8t² / 2 + 125t + 500

h =  -9.8(12.76)² / 2 + 125(12.76) + 500

h = -797.80 + 1595 + 500

h = 1297.2 m

The maximum height reached is 1297.2 m

From the attachment, the maximum height is 1297.2m at t = 12.76sec.

Comment, the result are the same for both the analysis aspect and the graphical aspect.
