Answer:

29

Step-by-step explanation:

Because all the triangles have the same length for the top part, we just need to find one of them.

The Pythagorean theorem says to do a squared + b square = c squared. So 2 squared is 4, and 5 squared is 25. 25 + 4 = 29.

Because the next step requires us to find out the root of 29, but then we need to square it again, that leaves us with 29.

Hope that helped in some way or another.

A bicycle wheel has a radius of 13 inches. What is the distance the bicycle will travel after 30 revolutions of the wheel? Use 3
SpyIntel [72]
Radius = 13 inches

Circumference of wheel = 1 revolution
2πr = 2 x 3.14 x 13 = 81.64 inches

1 revolution = 81.64 inches
30 revolutions = 2449.2inches

need some help with geo, could you explain how to do it as well so i know next time not needed but helpful
Setler [38]
You can do this by finding the lengths of RT , RS and ST using the distance formula

RT = sqrt ((0- -5)^2  + (4 - -6)^2)
      = sqrt (5^2 + 10^2)  = sqrt 125

RS =  sqrt ((-3- -5)^2 +  (-2 - -6)^2))
       = sqrt  ( 2^2 + 4^2)  = sqrt 20

ST  = sqrt 125 - sqrt 20

RS / ST  = sqrt 20 / (sqrt 125-sqrt 20)

so the ratio RS:ST = 2:3

Its B
