Answer: Option B 3-4i is the correct option

Explanation:

we have formula for discriminant D=b^{2}-4ac

after that we find the required variable that is to be find according to the quadratic equation given suppose we have to find x

then we have formula x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{D}} {2a}

Here we have \pm of roots if we have one root 3+41 other would be of opposite sign and hence,definitely be 3-4i.

Therefore Option B 3-4i is the correct option.

Important notes:

3 sides 1 angle - COSINE RULE

2 sides 2 angle - SINE RULE

since, the question wants to find the length of BC. In the end we will have 3 sides and 1 angle and use cosine rule

formula of cosine rule:

a² = b² + c² - 2bc Cos A° (to find the length)

Cos A° = b² + c² - a² / 2bc ( to find the angle, if there is given three sides and have to find the angle)

So just substitute,

a² = 13² + 15² - 2(13)(15) Cos 95°

a = 20.6 or 21

The pie store is having a 10% off sale on all of its pies. If the pie you want regularly costs $18, how much would you save with
sasho [114]
If there is 10% of $18 = 18 x 0.9 (1 - 0.1) = $16.20
Therefore the pie costs $16.20
He is saving 18 - 16.20 = $1.80
