Answer:

66.67 %

Step-by-step explanation:

As we can see from the figure

We are given a bar graph in which bars represent the number of reserved campsites at a camp ground for one week from Monday to Sunday.

First of all

Lets the count the total number of reservations made by campsites during the week.

Total Number of campsite reservations = 5+3+4+7+26+30+9

Total Number of campsite reservations =84

Now

we have to calculate what percent of reservations were made for friday or saturday.

% of reservations made on friday or saturday = \frac{total-numer-of-reservations-on-friday-or-saturday}{total-number-of reservations}

% of reservations made on friday or saturday = \frac{26+30}{84}

% of reservations made on friday or saturday = \frac{56}{84}

% of reservations made on friday or saturday = 66.67 %

So in total 66.67 % reservations are on friday and saturday.

Please help!! Write in simplest radical form: √7/8 Show how you figured it out
12345 [234]

Given expression: \sqrt{\frac{7}{8}}.

\mathrm{Apply\:radical\:rule\:}\sqrt[n]{\frac{a}{b}}=\frac{\sqrt[n]{a}}{\sqrt[n]{b}}

=\frac{\sqrt{7}}{\sqrt{8}}

\sqrt{8}=\sqrt{2^2\cdot \:2}=2\sqrt{2}

\frac{\sqrt{7}}{\sqrt{8}} =\frac{\sqrt{7}}{2\sqrt{2}}

\mathrm{Rationalize\:}\frac{\sqrt{7}}{2\sqrt{2}}

\mathrm{Multiply\:by\:the\:conjugate}\:\frac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}

=\frac{\sqrt{7}\sqrt{2}}{2\sqrt{2}\sqrt{2}}

=\frac{\sqrt{14}}{4}

=\frac{\sqrt{14}}{4}.

Solve x^2 +14x=15 by completing the square
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

x = -15 and x = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have to use the complete the square method, we first need to <u>rewrite the equation</u> in the form x^{2}+2ax+a^{2}=(x+a)^{2}.

This results in x^{2} + 14x + 7^{2} = 15 + 7^{2}.

Next, we <u>simplify the equation</u> to get x^{2} +14x+7^{2} = 64.

<u>Factoring </u>the left side gives us (x+7)^{2} = 64.

Finally we <u>solve the equations</u>: x+7=\sqrt{64} and x+7=-\sqrt{64}.

This gives us  x=1, and x=-15

inessss [21]

Answer

16/43

Step-by-step explanation:

17 Male + 27 female = 44 students

now n= 2 so first student was male so one male student was taken out of the equation so 16 male left. now left male students by remaining students  so now total left students = 43
