15 ft 7 inches

Here are the steps to doing this,

1. Write out

    6 ft 10 inches
+ 8 ft 9 inches
-------------------------

2. Add the inches first, 10 + 9 = 19
3. Next, add the feet,

6 + 8 = 14

What you have is 14 feet 19 inches
Hopefully, you know that 12 inches is equivalent to one foot.

4. Subtract 12 from 19, and you get 7.
5. Your answer is 15 feet 7 inches

Hope this helps!

PLS HELP ME ASAP FOR 39 (SHOW WORK!) + LOTS OF POINTS!! *CORRECT ANSWER ONLY!*
Nady [450]
The straight line ON has the following equation :
(x - 18)/(x - 0) = (y - 12)/(y - 0)
Where (18,12) are coordinates of N and (0,0) are coordinates of O.
x - 18/x = y - 12/y
-18y = - 12x
y =12x/18 - - - - - (a)

The coordinates satisfy equation (a) are (7.5, 5)

Therefore D is the correct answer.

Good luck

A rhombus has coordinates A(-6, 3), B(-4, 4), C(-2, 3), and D(-4, 2). What are the coordinates of rhombus A′B′C′D′ after a 90° c
Liula [17]

We are given that the coordinates of the vertices of the rhombus are:
A(-6, 3)
B(-4, 4)
C(-2, 3)
D(-4, 2)

To solve this problem, we must plot this on a graphing paper or graphing calculator to clearly see the movement of the graph. If we transform this by doing a counterclockwise rotation, then the result would be:
A(-6, -3)
B(-4, -4)
C(-2, -3)
D(-4, -2)

And the final transformation is translation by 3 units left and 2 units down. This can still be clearly solved by actually graphing the plot. The result of this transformation would be:

A′(6, -8)
B′(7, -6)
C′(6, -4)
D′(5, -6)
