Answer:

Quantity of House coffee blend = 22 pound

Quantity of Rift Valley coffee blend = 38 pound

Explanation:

Given:

Quantity of House coffee blend = x

Amount of  House coffee blend = $13.20 pound

Quantity of Rift Valley coffee blend = y

Amount of Rift Valley coffee blend = $14.40 pound

Total quantity = 60 pound

Sell price = $13.96 per pound

Find:

Quantity of House coffee blend

Quantity of Rift Valley coffee blend

Computation:

x + y = 60 ........Eq1

And,

13.20 x + 14.40 y = 13.96(60)

13.20 x + 14.40 y = 837.6.........Eq2

from Eq2 and Eq1

y = 38

and x = 60 - 38 = 22

Quantity of House coffee blend = 22 pound

Quantity of Rift Valley coffee blend = 38 pound

A company forecasts free cash flow in next year to be $20 million, $25 million in second year, and 30 million in third year. Aft
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

Current value from operations is $534.71 million.

Explanation:

The value from operations can be calculated by discounting back the free cash flow of the firm. The first three year's FCF will be discounted back using the WACC and when the growth rate o FCF becomes constant after Year 3, the terminal value will be calculated and discounted back too.

The current value from operations = FCF1 / (1+WACC) + FCF2 / (1+WACC)² + FCF3 / (1+WACC)³  +  [FCF3 * (1+g)  /  WACC - g] / (1+WACC)³

Current value from operations = 20 / (1+0.1)  +  25 / (1+0.1)²  +  30 / (1+0.1)³  +  [30 * (1+0.05) / (0.1 - 0.05)] / (1+0.1)³

Current value from operations = $534.71 million
