I would say A, although it depends on what kind of machine. If it does not recycle, then most likely C. I would be able to give more context based on what kind of machine it is.

A horse ran at a constant speed for 4 hours. Then, it decreased its speed by 7 mph for the
algol13

Distance travelled in 4 hours...

730 - 442 = 288 miles

Speed for the 4 hours;

Speed = 288/4 = 72 miles/hour

Speed for the rest of 442 miles...;

(72 - 7) = 65 miles/hour

Time taken for 442 miles..

Time taken = Distance/Speed

; 442/65 = 6.8

Time taken = 6.8 hours

What term is commonly used to refer to the bending of light
Artemon [7]
It can either be refraction or diffraction.

refraction - bending of a wave or light as it passes from one medium into another, or as it passes through a non-uniform medium.

diffraction - bending of a wave or light in a homogeneous medium around obstacles or through a narrow opening.

As you can see the difference between the two is that diffraction is related to obstacles or narrow openings.

hope this helps :)

In an AC circuit with a single inductor L=1mH, what is the frequency if Irms=1.6A when Vrms=10V?
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

994.718Hz

Explanation:

[V(rms) / I(rms)] = 2ΠfL

Vrms = 10V

Irms = 1.6A

L = 1mH = 1*10⁻³H

f = ?

[V(rms) / I(rms)] = 2ΠfL

10 / 1.6 = 2π*1*10⁻³f

6.25 = 6.28*10⁻³f

f = 994.718Hz

The frequency across the inductor is 994.718Hz
