49 After decaying for 48 hours, l/16 of the original mass of a radioisotope sample remains unchanged. What is the half-life of t
hodyreva [135]
1/16 left would imply 4 half lives have passed (1/2 left = 1, 1/4 left = 2, 1/8 left = 3, 1/16 left = 4). So 4 half lives passed in 48 hours, meaning dividing 48 by 4 will give you the length of 1 half life. Which in this case is 12 hours.

Identify the molecule with the strongest intermolecular force <br> HF<br> HCl<br> Hl<br> HBr
Dominik [7]
Hey there !:

HF s molecule with the strongest intermolecular force

<span>HF > HI > HBr > HCl</span><span>

</span>The main factor of influence at the boiling point is the question of intermolecular forces, but not only that, the molar mass also has influence (the greater the molar mass, the greater the boiling point). Note that the only one forming hydrogen bridges is the HF, therefore the largest boiling point, iodine, bromine and chlorine have the same type of intermolecular (permanent dipole) connections as they are polar, and what will differentiate the boiling point of each one is the molar mass.

If a reaction vessel at that temperature initially contains 0.0400 M NO2 and 0.0400 M N2O4, what is the concentration of NO2 at
LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

0.088 M.

Explanation:

Assuming that the temperature is 429 K, we can calculate the concentration of NO₂. Kc(429K) = 0.490.

The reaction is:

N₂O₄(g)  ⇄  2NO₂(g)

0.04             0.04

0.04 - x          0.04 + 2x

The constant of the reaction is:

Kc = \frac{[NO_{2}]^{2}}{[N_{2}O_{4}]]}

0.490 = \frac{(0.04 + 2x)^{2}}{0.04 - x}

0.490*(0.04 - x) - (0.04 + 2x)^{2} = 0

By solving the above equation for x we have:

x = 0.024 = [NO₂]

Hence the concentration of NO₂ is:

[NO_{2}] = 0.04 + 2*0.024 = 0.088 M

I hope it helps you!

The acceleration due to gravity on Earth is 9.80 m/s 2 . If the mass of a honeybee is 0.000100 kilograms, what is the weight of
sweet [91]
Okay so i think the answer to this is.

weight=mg

m=0.000100 g=9.80

so weight= 0.00980 kgm/s2
Hopefully thats correct (i am horrible at math)
