Answer:

Chemical substances are composed by atoms or molecules without a chemical bond, so they cannot be separated.

On the other hand, chemical mixture are made from different chemical bonds, and can be separated.

Which species is oxidized in the reaction below? al2o3(s) 3 co(g) → 2 al(s) 3 co2(g)
Elza [17]

Al species is oxidized in the reaction below al2o3(s) 3 co(g) → 2 al(s) 3 co2(g by oxidation

The reaction brought on by coming into touch with oxygen molecules is known as oxidation. These materials can be non-metals like live tissues or metals. Technically speaking, oxidation is the loss of one electron during the phase of interaction between two or more atoms.

Initially, the word "oxidation" was used to refer to chemical processes in which an element reacts with oxygen. An illustration of this is the oxidation of magnesium in the formation of magnesium oxide when magnesium metal and oxygen react.

The biological oxygen demand (BOD) of wastewater is decreased after oxidation, which also lessens some contaminants' toxicity. Some contaminants undergo this treatment and are transformed into carbon dioxide, water, and biosolids. Disinfection is commonly accomplished using chemical oxidation.

Slav-nsk [51]
When one talks about ppm in a liquid solution someone means mg/L so we would not be using the density. This usually means ug/g or mg/kg 0.115 g Na^+ * 10^6 ug/1 g = 115000 ug/g 4.55 L * 1000 mL/1L = 4550 mL Concentration of Na^+ in ppm: 115000 ug/g /4550 mL = 25.27 pm of sodium ion

Why are clay minerals used in pottery making or the characteristics that made them use in it I will Will make u brainiest
swat32

Clay is used in pottery for its ability to be manipulated by the bare hands of humans, and it dries very quickly. Since you dont need a lot of equipment, it was a high paying job back in the old times. An advantage of clay that it can keep the water cool for a long time as long as you cover the container.

Another advantage is that clay doesnt react with the liquids or food inside when heat is applied ( Unlike plastic)
