The unit ppm (parts per million) should be numerically equal to the unit of mg/L (milligram per liter). First, we determine the volume of the stock solution in L.

     V = (100 mL)(1 L/1000 mL)
     V = 0.1 L

Then, the equation that would allow us to determine the value of mass is,

        C = m/V

where C is concentration, m is mass, and V is the volume.

Substituting the known values,
       2  = m/ 0.1

The value of m from the equation is 0.2.

Answer: 0.2 mg

trapecia [35]

26.5 g of Fe₂(SO₄)₃

Explanation:

We have the following chemical reaction:

2 FePO₄ + 3 Na₂SO₄ → Fe₂(SO₄)₃ + 2 Na₃PO₄

number of moles = mass / molecular wight

number of moles of FePO₄ = 20 / 151 = 0.1325 moles

Taking in account the chemical reaction we devise the following reasoning:

if        2 moles of FePO₄ produces 1 mole of Fe₂(SO₄)₃

then  0.1325 moles of FePO₄ produces X moles of Fe₂(SO₄)₃

X = (0.1325 × 1) / 2 = 0.06625 moles of Fe₂(SO₄)₃

mass = number of moles × molecular wight

mass of Fe₂(SO₄)₃ = 0.06625 × 400 = 26.5 g

The equation for the formation of ammonia from nitrogen and hydrogen is shown below. What is the formula for the equilibrium con
WINSTONCH [101]

First, make sure to balance your equation.

3H2(g) + N2(g) ⇄ 2NH3(g)

Now, you can write your Kc expression. Remember that Kc is products over reactants, and the exponent for each product or reactant is based on its coefficient.

Kc = [NH3]^2 / [H2]^3[N2]
