Lets consider a basic problem of addition of three decimal numbers which includes hundredths .

$3.16+4.12+2.01$

When we add all the three decimal numbers , we regroup all the digits according to their place value (start from left) and then add them.

Now,

Addition of digits on their hundredths place=$6+2+1=9$

Addition of digits on their tenths place =$1+1+0=1$

Addition of digits on unit place =$3+4+2=9$

Arrange the answer according to their corresponding place, we get 18.19

Hence,  $3.16+4.12+2.01=9.19$
