How proteins are made
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Proteins are an important class of molecules that carry out most of the work inside cells. The building blocks of proteins are smaller organic molecules called amino acids. Most organisms, including humans, use only 20 different amino acids to assemble the vast multitude of proteins needed to build and run a cell.

To build proteins, cells use a complex assembly of molecules called a ribosome. The ribosome assembles amino acids into the proper order and links them together via peptide bonds. This process, known as translation, creates a long string of amino acids called a polypeptide chain.

After the polypeptide chain is synthesized, it will sometimes undergo additional processing. For example, some proteins will have certain amino acids removed. Or extra molecules such as sugars or phosphates may be attached to some of the amino acids in a protein.

Both adult and embryonic stem cells have the potential to be used for medical treatment. Evaluate the potential use of adult and
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Stem cells are the body's raw materials — cells from which all other cells with specialized functions are generated. Under the right conditions in the body or a laboratory, stem cells divide to form more cells called daughter cells.Research carried out with the use of these cells has demonstrated their effectiveness in the treatment of various diseases, such as leukemia, heart disease and hematological diseases. Embryonic stem cells, in turn, have the ability to form any tissue in the body.

How are embryonic stem cells used?

Stem cells have the ability to differentiate and self-renew. For this reason, they can be used in the treatment of degenerative diseases. Stem cells stand out for their ability to transform into different cell types, that is, they are cells with a great capacity for differentiation.

What diseases could be treated with the use of Embryonic Stem Cells?

 • Diseases that can be treated with stem cells
 • leukemias. Leukemia is a generic term used to describe the “cancer” of leukocytes, the white blood cells.
 • Thalassemias.
 • Neuroblastoma.
 • Primary immunodeficiencies.
 • Sideroblastic anemia.
 • Metabolic diseases.
 • Sickle cell anemia.

With this information, we can conclude that Scientists are also working on ways to develop stem cells from other cells, using genetic “reprogramming” techniques.

Animal tissues develop from embryonic germ layers. triploblastic animals have three germ layers (ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoder
natali 33 [55]

Answer;

The three statements that are true, include;

A diploblast has no mesoderm.

A pseudocoelom has the same functions as a true coelom.

In a coelomate, the tissue lining the inner side of the body cavity arises from the same germ layer as the tissue lining the outer side of the body cavity.

Explanation;

-Diploblastic animals are animals possessing two major tissue layers. These include the outer layer (the ectoderm) and the inner layer (the endoderm). Unlike the triploblastic animals , the diploblastic animals lack the third middle layer, the mesoderm.

- Coelom is the body cavity which exists between the mesoderm and endoderm while pseudo coelom is the body cavity which is present inside the mesoderm. Both the coeloms and pseudocoeloms are used as hydrostatics skeletons.

-Coelomate animals are animals that have a "true" body cavity or coelom and organs are in cased in peritoneal membrane.
