physical properties can be measure by changing the composition of matter. physical properties are generally used to mention and observe matter. physical properties describe the appearence, texture, color, odor,melting and boiling points,solubility, polarity and  many others. physical properties occurs without changes in molecular composition. physical properties can be observed  without changing a substance's identity.
