Answer:

Total time of flight= 3.6 hours

Speed of flight= 611.1 Km/h

Explanation:

Time taken when moving at 700 Km/h

Since speed=distance/time then time=distance/speed=1400 Km/700 km/h=2 hours

Time taken when moving at a speed of 500 Km/h

Time=800 km/500 Km/h=1.6 hours

Total time taken=2 hours+ 1.6 hours=3.6 hours

Total distance covered= 1400 Km+ 800 Km=2200 Km

Average speed=distance/total time taken=2200 km/3.6 hours=611.1 Km/h

Therefore, average speed is 611.1 Km/h

Question: An increased number of rod cells increase the ability to see, A. during the day B. at night C. underwater or D. colors
Fynjy0 [20]
B- at night

In eyes of the humans, and many other animals there are two types of receptors, the rods, and the cones. The cones have an important role in color vision and they possess different types of pigment which enable color vision.
On the other hand, the rods are more sensitive to light, and they are responsible for black and white vision.
Therefore, an increase in the number of rods can enable the animal to see betther in the dark.

what would someones mass be if their weight was 158.4? This is for science homework, they gave me a random weight # but no mass.
bekas [8.4K]

ON EARTH, every kilogram of mass weighs about 2.205 pounds.

So if you know the weight (in pounds), and you know that it was
weighed on Earth, you can simply divide the pounds by 2.205 ,
and you'll get the mass (in kilograms).

I can see that on this science homework, they used 2.2 for the weight
of 1 kilogram expressed in pounds.  So just divide the weight by 2.2
to get the mass in kilograms.

(The weight number they gave you is not so random.  :-)  )
