The total mass of 131.29 amu

= 2,196.10⁻²² grams

Further explanation

Inside the atom consists of a nucleus containing 3 basic particles namely protons and neutrons, while electrons move around the nucleus.

The mass number is not the same as the atomic mass. The mass number is the number of protons and neutrons in one atom. While the atomic mass is a number that expresses the mass of one atom.

Atomic mass is expressed in special units, namely atomic mass units because the atomic mass is very small if expressed in units of grams or milligrams

This atomic unit uses the standard atomic mass, that is, the C-12 isotope

1 C-12 atom = 12 atomic mass units

1 atomic mass unit = 1/12 x mass 1 atom C-12

The mass of 1 proton is equal to the mass of 1 neutron, equal to 1 atomic mass unit and electrons have a smaller mass than both.

electron mass = 9.11.10⁻²⁸ g

proton mass = 1.6726.10⁻²⁴ g

neutron mass = 1,675.10⁻²⁴ g

The proton mass is considered to be equal to 1 atomic mass unit and a neutron which has a slightly larger mass is also considered to be equal to 1 atomic mass unit

1 unit of atomic mass (amu) = 1.6726.10⁻²⁴ g

So if there are 131.29 amu, you can convert them into

= 131.29 x 1.6726.10⁻²⁴ g

= 219,595.10⁻²⁴

= 2,196.10⁻²² grams

We know avogadro's number = 6.023 x 10²³
1 amu = 1 atomic mass unit = 1/ (6.023 x 10²³) gm = 1.66 x 10⁻²⁴grams

If displacement covered by a particle is zero then distance cover by it

sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

When displacement is zero, the particle may be at rest, therefore, distance travelled = 0.

Again, when displacement is zero, the final position matches with the initial position after some time, but the distance travelled will not be zero.

An Olympic discus thrower (~100 kg) launches the 2.0 kg discus by spinning rapidly (~4 times per second) with arm outstretched (
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

F = 1263.03 N

Explanation:s

given,

mass of the disk thrower = 100 Kg

mass of the disk = 2 Kg

angular speed of the disk = 4 rev/s

arm outstretched = 1 m

centripetal force of the disk in the circular path

F = m ω² r

ω = 4 x 2 x π

ω = 25.13 rad/s

F = m ω² r

F = 2 x 25.13² x 1

F = 1263.03 N

hence, centripetal force equal to the F = 1263.03 N

A baseball hits a car, breaking its window and triggering its alarm which sounds at a frequency of 1210 Hz. What frequency (in H
IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

The frequency of sound heard by the boy is 1181 Hz.

Explanation:

Given that,

Frequency of sound from alarm f_{0} = 1210\ Hz

Speed = -8.25 m/s

Negative sign show the boy riding away from the car

Speed of sound = 343

We need to calculate the heard frequency

Using formula of frequency

f = f_{0}(\dfrac{v+v_{0}}{v-v_{s}})

Where, f_{0} = frequency of source

v_{0} = speed of observer

v_{s} = speed of source

v = speed of sound

Put the value into the formula

f=1210\times\dfrac{343+(-8.25)}{343-0}

here, source is at rest

f=1180.8\ Hz

f=1181\ Hz

Hence, The frequency of sound heard by the boy is 1181 Hz.
