chemical reaction results in the forming or breaking apart of chemical bonds between various elements. These reactions can result in many different outcomes, which can be affected by temperature, pressure and the amount of the reactants. Catalysts can also start a reaction or speed up its rate. However, the catalyst is not involved in the chemical reaction, as it remains unchanged before and after the reaction.
Although the elements and compounds may change form during the reaction, every atom in the reactants is also found in one of the products. In the reaction, individual elements can bond together to form compounds, or compounds can break apart into elements. For instance, when water is exposed to an electrical current, it breaks apart into oxygen and hydrogen gases. Alternatively, when zinc and sulfur react together, the two elements bond together to form zinc sulfide.
Some reactions also result in chemical equilibrium, which occurs when the reactants change into products at the same time as the products change back into the original reactants.

Calculate the fraction of lattice sites that are schottky defects for cesium chloride at its melting temperature (645oc). assume
baherus [9]
Answer : 7.87 X 10^{-6}.

Explanation : To find the fraction of schottky defects in the given lattice of CsCl,

we use the formula, \frac{N_{s} }{N}} = exp ( \frac{-Q_{s}}{2KT} )

on solving with the given values ,Q_{s}= 1.86 eV and T as 645 + 273 K and rest are the constants.

\frac{N_{s} }{N}} = exp ( \frac{-1.86 eV}{2 X (8.62 X 10^{-5}) X (645 +273)} )

we get the answer as 7.87 X 10^{-6}.

nalin [4]

Answer:

Saturn's orbit is 29.5 "Earth years" and if Saturn's four seasons last an equal amount of time, the approximate length would be 29.5 / 4

29.5 / 4 = 5.9

So each season on Saturn is 5.9 "Earth years" Long.

Sorah, Sammie,Victor, Vicki, ond Valerie are in math group. Two students are randomly picked to
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

\frac{2}{5}

Explanation:

Probability refers to chances of occurrence of any event.

Value of probability is greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 1.

Probability = Number of favorable outcomes ÷ Total number of outcomes

Total number of students in math group = 5

Also, 2 students are randomly picked to  be the co-captains.

Probability that students were Sammie and Victor = \frac{2}{5}
