<span>When an individual is more than a couple of meters underwater, the air pressure in the lungs is greater than the air pressure at the waters surface. If a snorkel were used, it would move the air from the lungs to the surface, making it very difficult to breath

Errors for the setup of ammonia gas
givi [52]

The Errors for the setup or preparation of ammonia gas includes:

  • inadequate temperature use
  • absence of a catalyst
  • inadequate pressure during preparation of the ammonia gas.

Ammonia gas is the hydride of nitrogen. In nature, this gas is produced when nitrogenous matter decays in the absence of air.

In the industrial preparation of ammonia gas, it is manufactured from nitrogen and hydrogen by the Haber process.

Since the direct combination between nitrogen and hydrogen is reversible, special conditions of reaction are necessary for the optimum yield of ammonia. These include:

  • Catalyst: The presence of finely divided iron as a catalyst is necessary for the optimum yield of ammonia gas.
  • Temperature:  the Haber process requires the temperature of about 450°C for the optimum yield of ammonia gas
  • Pressure: A pressure of about 200 atmospheres is required.
