Rachel's unit rate is : 2.80

Kevin's is: 3.20

( you simply divide the dollar amount by the rolls of tape-- 33.60÷ 12)

Therefore, Kevin's is greater than Rachel's.

Rachel paid $33.60 for 12 rolls.

Unit rate paid by Rachel =

= 2.8

From table,

Kevin paid $6.40 for 2 rolls.

Unit rate paid by Kevin =

= 3.20.

Check:

Kevin bought 5 rolls for $16

5 × 3.2 = 16

He also bought 8 rolls for $25.6.

8 × 3.2 = 25.6.

If we compare the unit rates paid by Rachel and Kevin,

Rachel's unit rate is less than Kevin's because 3.2 is greater than 2.8.

What are the coordinates of the vertex f(x)=2(x+1)(x+3)
artcher [175]

Answer:

(-2,-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

There are many methods to find the vertex of a quadratic function. The method that I will show you is by using the roots of the function

In the case of this function, the roots are x=-1, x=-3..

The vertex of a function will always be directly between these roots. The number that is directly between -1 and -3 is -2. This means that the x-value of our vertex is -2.

Now that we have the x-value, we can plug this into the function in order to get our y-value.

2(x+1)(x+3)\\\\2(-2+1)(-2+3)\\\\2(-1)(1)\\\\-2

We have found that our y-value is -2. This means that the coordinates of the vertex are (-2,-2)

DaniilM [7]

Answer:

2390.7 square meters

Step-by-step explanation:

(semicircle area) 30.5/2 = 15.4

15.4 x 15.4

= 232.5625 x 3.14

= 730.24625 x 2 = 1460.4

(square area) 30.5 x 30.5 = 930.25

930.25+ 1460.4= 2390.7 square meters

you may want to double check the answer however
