Imagine that a you and a friend are exercising together at a gym. Your friend suddenly trips and falls, and it is clear that he
or she has suffered an ankle sprain. Luckily you know exactly what has happened. Explain how your friend sustained the injury and, assuming you had the necessary supplies, including a first aid kit and a phone, explain what steps could you take to stabilize your friend's injury.
The first thing I would do is tell the friend to not panic. Panicking just makes things a lot worse since she is probably scared. Then I would call the ambulance so they could take care of the friend by getting more into detail of what happened to his/her ankle. I would suspect that she got injured because she wasn't paying attention while exercising and possibly got distracted somehow and fell. If she/he was bleeding I would wrap their ankle so that way blood would not get all over the floor. After all that, I would try to calm the friend down if he/she were still panicking and wait for the ambulance to arrive.
