Along two opposite sides of the square, the path is 30 m long and 1 m wide.

Along the other two opposite sides of the square, the path is 28 m long and 1 m wide.

area = 2(30 m * 1 m) + 2(28 m * 1 m) = 60 m^2 + 56 m^2 = 116 m^2

Explain how to find the constant of proportionality for the ratio of robins to cardinals.
romanna [79]
Look at the table for each type of bird. 5x=15. 6x=18. 10x=30. What would you multiply each of those by to get your answer and find the difference? 5x=15; x= 3. It is the same for each number. So the difference is by 3. I think if I understand this correctly, that would be how you do it. Does this help?
