You have 723 ml of 3.99 M HCl. Using a volumetric pipet, you take 326 ml of that solution and dilute it to 976 ml in a volumetri

c flask. Now you take 100.00 ml of that solution and dilute it to 119 ml in a volumetric flask. What is the concentration of hydrochloric acid in the final solution

Answer:

1.12M

Explanation:

The initial concentration of the HCl solution is 3.99M. You are doing 2 dilutions:

In the first you take 326mL and dilute the solution to 976mL; that means you are diluting the solution:

976mL / 326mL = 2.99 times.

The concentration of this solution is:

3.99M / 2.99 = 1.33M

Now, in the second dilution, you take 100mL of the diluted solution and dilute it to 119mL. The concentration of this final solution is:

119mL / 100mL = 1.19 times.

1.33M / 1.19 =

1.12M

What mass of bromine reacts with 16.2 g of aluminium?
Goshia [24]
For every, 3 Br- ions, 1 Al3+ ion reacts to form AlBr3.

Convert 16.2g of aluminum to moles:

16.2g Al / 27.0g per mol = 0.60 mols.

Based on the above ratio, 0.60 mols of Al will react with 1.8 mols of Br.

Convert 1.8 mols of Br to its mass:

1.8 mols Br × 79.9g per mol = 143.82g of Br.

HELP WITH SCIENCE!! 7TH GRADE! DUE TODAY!
ehidna [41]

I am not positive this is what you want but here lol:

The Earth's surface is about 71 percent water spreading over many oceans, rivers, and lakes. This also includes the droplets of water on the morning grass, the undrained water from the rain, puddles that never evaporated, etc. As this water is heated up by the Sun, its' molecules start to move faster as it turns into gas and evaporates. As it evaporates it rises, however, the cooler temperatures in the high altitude of Earth's atmosphere make it condense into large clouds. When so much water has evaporated and the cloud very dense, gravity brings down the water from the clouds onto the ground in the form of rain. This completes the water cycle as the water will either turn into runoff, stay on the surface of the Earth, or seep into the ground. Then the water evaporates again, and the whole process starts over.

*Hope this helped!! Have a good night/ day wherever you are! : )*
