Answer: 1. 2nd endpoint  (24,-18)       2. 2nd endpoint: (-19,4)

Step-by-step explanation:

1.   \frac{-10+x}{2} = 7  x = 24

    \frac{6+y}{2} = -6    y= -18

2nd endpoint: (24,-18)

2.  \frac{-1+x}{2} = -10   x= -19

   \frac{0+y}{2} =  2     y= 4

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Polly has the least. Let's work this from least to greatest.

They have £270. They share it together. Polly has £30. Andy has £60, and Phoebe has £180.

180 + 60 = 240.

240 + 30 = 270.

Pho: £180

Andy: £60

Polly: £30.

hope this helps.

Algebra applications: find the value of x and y
Inga [223]

Answer : The value of x and y is 8 and 10 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation :

As we known that if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal line then consecutive interior angles are supplementary.

From the given figure we conclude that:

5x-y+150=180       ...........(1)

5x-y=180-150

5x-y=30      ............(2)

5x+y+130=180       ...........(3)

5x+y=180-130

5x+y=50        ...........(4)

Now we adding equation 2 and 4, we get the value of x.

5x-y+5x+y=30+50

10x=80

x=8

Now we are putting the value of x in 4, we get the value of y.

5x+y=50

5(8)+y=50

y=50-40

y=10

Therefore, the value of x and y is 8 and 10 respectively.

Please help with numbers 1 and 2 !!!
lesantik [10]
Well, this is a stem and leaf problem.

The numbers are 20, 28, 29, 29, 31, 32, 36, 41, and 42.

In order to solve for the mean, we find the average and we add the numbers together and divide by 9(there are 9 numbers).

The mean is 32.
The median is the middle number, or 31.

a pet store has 7 cats here are their weights 12, 12, 9, 16, 11, 11, 9 find the mean weighy of these cats
shusha [124]

Answer:

The mean weight of the cats is 11.42 (rounded)

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the mean, you add up all the weights (12, 12, 9, 9, 11, 11, 16) and then divided the sum (80) of the weights by the number of cats (7)

12+12+9+9+11+11+16= 80

80 ÷ 7= 11.42857143 (I rounded my answer to 11.42)

I hope this was helpful. Have a wonderfull rest of your day!
