Well, first you will want to find the amount of loads he can do with one box.
Since he can do 1 load with 1/16th of a box, he can do 16 loads with one box. Now we multiply 16 by 4 since he has 4 boxes.
16 * 4 or 16+16+16+16 is equal to 64.
So
Marvin can do 64 loads of laundry with 4 boxes of detergent.
Hope I helped!

Camila wanted to create a second garden to grow even more vegetables. To determine the dimensions of her second garden, she used
OlgaM077 [116]

Using proportions, considering original measures of 10 feet, we have that:

 • The horizontal measurement of the second garden is of 7.5 feet.
 • The vertical measurement of the second garden is of 15 feet.

What is a proportion?

A proportion is a fraction of total amount.

In this problem, the total amount is the original measures of 10 feet.

The horizontal measurement has a scale factor of 75%, hence:

h = 0.75(10) = 7.5

The vertical measurement has a scale factor of 150%, hence:

h = 1.5(10) = 15

Answer:

From the attached graphic we see that

rhombus side = Sqr Root [(Long Diagonal / 2) ^ 2 + (Short Diagonal / 2) ^ 2]

rhombus side = Sqr Root [(24/2)^2 + (18/2)^2]

rhombus side = Sqr Root [144 + 81]

rhombus side = Sqr Root (225)

rhombus side = 15 feet

Someone pls help me answer this????? THE POINTS ARE (3,-4) And (3,5)
irina [24]
The circle goes thru the given points (3,-4) And (3,5). Since the x-coordinate does not change, the diameter lies right on the vertical line x=3. Since the vertical distance between these points is 5-(-4), or 9, the radius is 9/2.

The standard eq'n of a circle is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2

Let's subst. what we know: we get (x-3)^2 + (y-1/2)^2 = (9/2)^2. Note that y = 1/2 is halfway between y=-4 and y=5.

10 ft
Lelu [443]

Answer:

P = 40.56 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The figure is composed of a rectangle and half circle

The perimeter of the figure = the length of the borders round the figure

= W + 2L + ½(perimeter of full circle)

W = 8 ft

L = 10 ft

½(perimeter of circle) = ½(πd) = ½(3.14*8)

= 12.56 ft

Plug in the values

Perimeter of the figure = 8 + 2(10) + 12.56

= 8 + 20 + 12.56

= 40.56 ft
