A machine that provides both constant speed and maximum resistance throughout the full range of motion provides an isokinetic type of muscular contraction. This type of contraction occurs when the muscle would contract and shorten at a consistent and constant speed. To have this contraction, special equipment are to be used. An example of an equipment would be an Isokinetic Dynamometer. However, this type of training is said to be one of the fastest in increasing the muscle strength and the muscle endurance. With this training, the muscles being targeted would gain strength consistently and evenly throughout the whole duration of exercise.

A 27.0 g marble sliding to the right at 56.8 cm/s overtakes and collides elastically with a 13.5 g marble moving in the same dir
Nataly [62]

Answer:v_1=28.4 cm/s

Explanation:

Given

mass of marble m_1=27 gm

velocity of marble u_1=56.8 cm/s \approx 0.568 m/s

mass of second marble m_2=13.5 gm

Velocity of second marble u_2=14.2 cm/s \approx 0.142 m/s

After collision 13.5 gm marble moves to the right at i.e. v_2=71 cm/s

Conserving momentum

m_1u_1+m_2u_2=m_1v_1+m_2v_2

27\times 56.8+13.5\times 14.2=27\times v_1+13.5\times 71

1533.6+191.7=27\cdot v_1+958.5

27\cdot v_1=766.8

v_1=\frac{766.8}{27}=28.4 cm/s

Phantasy [73]

Answer:

It will cause kinetic energy to increase.

Explanation:

Given that Speed and Motion you went from the starting line to the finish line at different rates.

If you repeated the activity while carrying weights but keeping your times the same, the weight carried will add up to the mass of the body.

And since Kinetic energy K.E = 1/2mv^2

Increase in the mass of the body will definitely make the kinetic energy of the body to increase.

Since the time is the same, that means the speed V is the same.

Weight W = mg

m = W/g

The new kinetic energy will be:

K.E = 1/2(M + m)v^2

This means that there will be increase in kinetic energy.

Which forces are shown on a free body diagram?
notsponge [240]

Answer:

What is a Free Body Diagram?

The free body diagram helps you understand and solve static and dynamic problem involving forces. It is a diagram including all forces acting on a given object without the other object in the system. You need to first understand all the forces acting on the object and then represent these force by arrows in the direction of the force to be drawn.

what is the magnitude of g at a height above earth surface where free fall acceleration equal 6.5m/s2
ZanzabumX [31]
The magnitude of gravity is expressed in terms of its acceleration. So the magnitude of ' g ' at that altitude is exactly 6.5 m/s^2.
