Although most of them have a 40% GC content but some species of for example lactobaccilus may have more GC than that e.g., <em>Lactobacillus delbrueckii</em> has a GC content of 62% while<em> Lactobacillus fermentum</em> has a GC content of 63% and both of them also belong to the same genus. So, it should remain in same Genus classification.
