Power is energy/time, where t is seconds.  Assuming you were moving the box the whole time, you did 3150/(5*60) = 10.5W

Answer:

10.5w

Explanation: power is the ratio of work done in joule with time in seconds.

Therefore,

Power = work done/time

Work done = 3150j

Time = 5×60 = 300s

Power = 3150/300

= 10.5W

Sam is observing the velocity of a car at different times. After two hours, the velocity of the car is 54 km/h. After four hours
MariettaO [177]
With that information you can only suppose a uniformly accelerated motion.  This is, acceleration is constant.

Then, acceleration = change in velocity / change in time = (58 -54)km/h / 2 h = 4km/h / 2 h = 2 km/h^2

Then the equation for velocity, V is

V = Vo + a*t = Vo + 2 (km/h^2)  * t = Vo +  2t

Vo is the initial velocity, which you can find using V = 54km/h and t = -2

Vo = V after 2 hours - a*(2hours) = 54km/h - 2(km/h^2)*2h = 54km/k - 4km/h = 50km/h

Then, the equation is: V = 50 km/h + 2t

Valid for constant acceleration.

Why is a spectrum of colors produced when white light passes through a prism?
Mkey [24]

Explanation: White light is all colors of light in one, so when white light passes through a prism, the light gets refracted and breaks apart into all of the colors on the visible light spectrum.

Does the lattice energy of an ionic solid increase or decrease as the charges or sizes of the ions increase?
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

Explanation:

Lattice energy is the energy required to separate one mole of an ionic solid compound into its components gaseous cations and anions.

Due to increase in size of the ions, the lattice energy decreases while the lattice energy increases as the charge of the ions increases.

When the size increase, the distance between the nuclei also increase leading a decrease the force of attraction between the nuclei

A physicist's right eye is presbyopic (i.e., farsighted). This eye can see clearly only beyond a distance of 97 cm, which makes
Ivan

Answer:

f = 19,877 cm   and  P = 5D

Explanation:

This is a lens focal length exercise, which must be solved with the optical constructor equation

        1 / f = 1 / p + 1 / q

where f is the focal length, p is the distance to the object and q is the distance to the image.

In this case the object is placed p = 25 cm from the eye, to be able to see it clearly the image must be at q = 97 cm from the eye

let's calculate

        1 / f = 1/97 + 1/25

        1 / f = 0.05

        f = 19,877 cm

the power of a lens is defined by the inverse of the focal length in meters

         P = 1 / f

         P = 1 / 19,877 10-2

         P = 5D
