An increase in temperature the kinetic energy and average speed of the gas particles. As a result, the pressure on the walls of
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

a

The pressure will increase

b

T_2 =  576^oC

Explanation:

From the ideal gas law we have that

     PV  =  nRT

We see that the temperature varies directly with the pressure so if there is an increase in temperature that pressure will increase

   The initial  temperature is T_i  =  10^oC = 10 + 273 =  283 \  K

The objective of this solution is to obtain the temperature of the gas where the pressure is tripled

Now from the above equation given that nR and V  are constant  we have that

    \frac{P}{T}  =  constant

=>  \frac{P_1}{T_1}  =\frac{P_2}{T_2}

Let assume the initial  pressure is P_1 = 1 Pa

So tripling it will result  to the pressure being P_2 = 3 Pa

So

     \frac{1}{283}  =\frac{3}{T_2}

=>   T_2  =  3 *  283

=>    T_2  =  3 *  283

=>    T_2  = 849 \ K

Converting back to ^oC

   T_2  =  849 -  273

=>  T_2 =  576^oC

The primary reason for the path of motion of an object being a smooth curve is: Select an answer and submit. For keyboard naviga
kap26 [50]

Answer:

the correct answer is d

Explanation:

The laws of mechanics are related

          F = m a

the acceleration of the body is given by the kinematics

         a = \frac{dv}{dt}

         v = \frac{dx}{dt}

substituting

         a = \frac{d2x}{dt^2}

         F = m \frac{d^2x}{dt^2}

Therefore, in order to obtain the force (interaction of a body), continuous curves are needed and derivable from the position and the speed, for which all change in the trajectory of a body must be smooth where smooth is understood to have until the second derived.

Consequently the correct answer is d

Please help me with this question
Oksanka [162]

Car at rest:

velocity= 0m/s

Acceleration:

0.2m/s²

Since total time:

3 min = 180s

Formula of acceleration:

acceleration = [final velocity - initial velocity] ÷ [total time]

Velocity at end:

0.2m/s² = [final velocity - 0m/s] ÷ [180s]

0.2m/s² × 180s = [final velocity]

[final velocity] = 36m/s

Distance travelled:

Velocity = displacement(distance) ÷ time

36m/s = displacement(distance) ÷ 180s

displacement(distance) = 36m/s × 180s

displacement(distance) = 6480m

<em><u>Hey I'm sorry but i do not understand why the answer on your worksheet for distance travelled is 3240m... its </u></em><em><u>half</u></em><em><u> of what my answer is...</u></em>
