8 lots of a number plus the $6 shipping gives the total cost of 54
For the sake of conformity, I will say the unknown bracelet cost is x however you can call it whatever you like.
Turning it into an equation:
8x + 6 = 54
Now we can work with it properly, and rearrange things more easily. subtracting 6 from both sides:
8x = 48
Now dividing both sides by 8:
x = \frac{48}{8} = 6
Therefore the cost of each bracelet is $6.00

First, we must take away the shipping charge.

x = cost of each bracelet

8x + 6 = 54
8x = 48
x = 6

Each bracelet is $6. Hope this helps!

3(x+1)^(4/3)=48<br><br> how do i solve this?
IrinaK [193]
3(x+1)^{\frac{4}{3}}=48\\\\\frac{3(x+1)^{\frac{4}{3}}}{3}=\frac{48}{3}\\\\(x+1)^{\frac{4}{3}}=(x+1)^{(\frac{1}{3}*4)}=\sqrt[3]{(x+1)^{4}}=16\\\\(\sqrt[3]{(x+1)^{4}})^{3}=16^{3}\\\\(x+1)^4=4096\\\\\sqrt[4]{(x+1)^4}=\sqrt[4]{4096}=\pm8\\\\\\x+1=\pm8\\\\x+1=8\\x=7\\\\x+1=-8\\x=-9

Your answers are x = 7 and x = -9.

Add &amp; sub fractions 7 8/9 - 2 2/3
Anit [1.1K]

Solution for the given fractions

7/9 + 2/3 = ?

The common denominator of the two fractions is: 9

7/9 = (1*7)/(1*9) = 7/9

2/3 = (2*3)/(3*3) = 6/9

Fractions adjusted to a common denominator

7/9 + 2/3 = 7/9 + 6/9

5 ( c+ 2) = -20<br><br> 12a + 5 - 8a = -1<br><br> m - 3 - 6m = -27<br><br> please solve
mel-nik [20]

c = -6

a = -3/2

m = -24/5

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2>#1</h2>

5(c + 2) = -20

5c + 10 = -20

5c = -20 - 10

5c = -30

<u>c = -6</u>

<h2>#2</h2>

12a + 5 - 8a = -1

4a + 5 = -1

4a = -1 - 5

4a = -6

a = (-6)/4

<u>a = -3/2</u>

<h2>#3</h2>

m - 3 - 6m = -27

-5m - 3 = -27 → (times -1)

5m + 3 = 27

5m = 27 - 3

5m = 24

<u>m = 24/5</u>
