Answer is 0.7 degrees celcius per minute

Explanation:

given that T(t) = 42-0.7t

We have to find the rate of drop of temperature.

For that we find drop of T in 1 minute

Consider T(t) for t minutes and t+1 minutes

T(t+1) = 42-0.7(t+1)

T(t) = 42-0.7t

Difference i.e. drop in temperature in one minute

= T(t+1)-T(t)

= 42-0.7(t+1)-(42-0.7t)   =-0.7

Hence drop per minute = 0.7 degree celcius.

NARA [144]

Answer:

100 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Create equations.

Company A: y = 0.28x + 50

Company B: y = 0.78x

These are equal to each other.

0.78x = 0.28x + 50

0.5x = 50

x = 100

QveST [7]

Answer:

A) 21/7, or 3

B) 36/5, or 7 1/5

C) 35/25, or 1 15/25, or 1 3/5

D) 54/12, or 4 6/12, or 4 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

8/7 plus 13/7. You add the numerators (the numbers on top) together. That makes 21. The denominator (the numbers on bottom) stays the same. So it would be 21/7. 7 fits into 21, 3 times.

Vicium, in VII XXI, III tempora.

20 - 4 TIMES 4 DIVIDE 2 + 3
Tanya [424]

20 - 4 \times 4 \div 2 + 3

  • Using BODMAS formula, we see that we have first divide, then multiply, then add and finally subtract
  • So
  • 20 - 4 \times 4 \div 2 + 3 \\  = 20 - 4 \times 2 + 3 \\  = 20 - 8 + 3 \\  = 23 - 8 \\  = 15
