Answer:

A) 21/7, or 3

B) 36/5, or 7 1/5

C) 35/25, or 1 15/25, or 1 3/5

D) 54/12, or 4 6/12, or 4 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

8/7 plus 13/7. You add the numerators (the numbers on top) together. That makes 21. The denominator (the numbers on bottom) stays the same. So it would be 21/7. 7 fits into 21, 3 times.

Vicium, in VII XXI, III tempora.

Respuesta 35/25 o 1 10/25

c) 9/3 + 21/5: factor en comun de los denominadores 15. 9*3=21  y 21*3=62 asi que 21/15 + 62/15 . Respuesta 83/15 o 5 8/15

d) 7/12 + 14/4: factor en comun de los denominadores 12. 14*3=42 asi que 7/12 + 42/12. Respuesta 49/12 o 4 1/12

Which equation is y = 9x2 + 9x – 1 rewritten in vertex form?
Llana [10]

Answer:

1. y = 9(x+1/2)^2 -13/4

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 9x^2 + 9x – 1

first isolate the x terms

y = 9(x^2 +x) -1

then add 1/4 inside the brackets to make it a perfect square trinomial (half of the coefficient of the x term squared is how we get 1/4)

since we just added 1/4 we need to subtract what we just added to balance the equation. so 1/4 times 9 is 9/4 ( the number we just added to the equation). then you subtract 9/4 outside of the brackets.

y = 9(x^2 +x +1/4) -1 -9/4

then simplify

y = 9(x+1/2)^2 -13/4
